September 2, 2008: Ella on 1st Grade

Today marks the first day of First Grade ... ever ... hopefully. Well, at least for Ella.

Her main concern: "I am a little afraid of 1st grade. I hope I do well."

Methinks is she's worried about doing well she'll do fine. She is SO my daughter.

Her chief complaint at the end of the day: "Mama, I am a little sad that today was so short. It went way too fast!"

Oh and regarding her teacher, "She's not too much fun, but she is nice."
